Many of times we go through challenging situations, where we don’t know how we are going to make it through. At those times many of us leave the Lord out of these situations and try to go it alone, thinking that we can find the answer on our own. That is a lie from the enemy of our souls. Those times are the perfect times for God to show us that He enjoys working for us, especially on things that we think is impossible. God is right there with us because He says that He will never leave us or forsake us and He always keeps His word.
We do the same thing with our close friends. We think that when we are facing our challenges, we will be bothering them if we ask for help, that is what friends are for. That is the time that we need to go to our Father Who Art In Heaven and tell Him what our challenge is. He wants us to tell Him even though He already knows. He wants us to depend on Him in the good times and the bad times. Our Lord is a friend and He will never criticize us when we come to Him. He will listen to our prayer and if we draw closer to Him through His word and prayer, He will answer our prayers. When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us. His word is true in all situations. You just have to trust Him. Sometimes He will answer you while you are reading or He will bring back a scripture verse that we have read before and within that verse He gives us an answer, sometimes He answer through people or by other means.
Our God is an awesome God. He lives in our heart and He directs our lives. Sometimes we face challenges because He desires to increase our faith when we submit to His will. Sometimes the challenge seems like it has no way out but His word says that He always makes a way of escape for us. Sometimes we just have to trust Him to show us the way out and during that process He will teach us what He wanted to teach us from the challenge. Don’t resist Him, submit to His will and He will take us to higher levels of faith in Him.
His word will be our source in all things in our life here on earth. Study the word of God and talk to God about His word and He will bring clarity to us when we don’t understand. We need the word when we go through our challenges because we will need to hear what God says during those times. Once we call ourselves Christians, we will suffer through challenges. We are soldiers of the cross of Christ and all soldiers must be prepared. Our savior requires us to study to show ourselves approved unto Him so that we will have an answer for our faith in Him. All challenges come to strengthen us as long as we take the Lord with us through these challenges. Just trust the Lord Jesus Christ and know that He will never give us more than we are able to bare. He is our biggest supporter and He will see us through.
